update multiple bpix files when the template changes

Hello all,

We have multiple clients with seperate copies of exactly the same database schema.

With the Power BI template option (.pbit), we create 1 base reporting file. With the powerquery parameters we use this for multiple clients to create a seperate Power Bi (.pbix) file per client.

The main question is how to work with updates on the template file.
At this moment we have to rebuild all clients files. Is it possible to auto-update the files based on the template?

Next to this we have clients who want custom visuals. Can we put those in the same file? for example in different tabs?

Actually, we cannot update multiple bpix files when the template changes, but as a workaround, we can create template apps in PowerBI Service, I would suggest you referring to this document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-template-apps-create
