We are looking at a comparison of planned activtiy month over month and year to year that changes with each version of the plan. We need to be able to show the current version of the data against the previous version of the plan. Right now, we copy the data into a table showing the date of the plan update and then pull from that table. Is there anyway to automate the process so we don't have to manually pull the data but can show the most recent plans?
@vozniak,
Are you able to export data of different dates into Excel or CSV files?
In your scenario, you can put all excel(or csv) files into a folder, connect to this Folder in Power BI Desktop, create month-to-month and year-to-year measures following the guide in this article, and then publish the report to Power BI Service. In Power BI Service, you are able to set schedule refresh for your dataset, this way, once you add new files into your folder, the dataset and report will be automatically refreshed in Power BI Service.

Lydia
