Hello : I have a table that with sales 2019 and 2020 :
where you can clearly see that the total OS 2019 and 2020 is not what it should give. wanted to know if you know why this is happening? if you look at it's impossible for it to add up to 28 billion in OS 2019.
Hi @CLCastroEn ,

You should make them explict measures - best practice is to NEVER drag values into your visuals, and this is why. Now you cannot change the measure. You will have to remove them and add measures similar to mine. The YourNormalMeasure might be SUM(Tablename[FieldName]) if you are just dragging fields.
Again, without sample data, I cannot really help much further. I don't want confidentiald data. You will need to provide some sample data that gives us enough to help with.

How to provide sample data in the Power BI Forum - Provide data in a table format per the link. Provide expected output using a screenshot of Excel or other image. Do not provide a screenshot of the source data. I cannot paste an image into Power BI tables.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling

MCSA: BI ReportingWhatever measure you are using for SO 2019/SO 2020 is what is recalculating in the total. So the Total of a visual is not the summation of the values above it, it is the same measure recalculated for all values in your Status Sales field.
You likely need a measure like so for this:
SO2019 =
IF(
ISINSCOPE( TableName[Status Sales] ),
[YourNormalMeasure],
SUM( TableName[SomeValue] )
)
But without knowing what your measure is and some sample data to test with, it is impossible for me to be sure. Provide data per links below.

MCSA: BI ReportingHello! @edhans what happens is that OS 2019 and 2020 are not DAX Measures, but, they are columns that come from an excel and that unfortunately I cannot share.
