the "Drill Through" alternative

Hey guys,

Long story short - I have the summary report page where projects of all types (2) are being present. The number of projects is 308, and it can be larger.

Then there are detailed report pages for projects of a particular type. I would like to go from the summary dashboard to the detail page without leveraging drill-through because the end user finds it unfriendly. Buttons are no help either - making 300+ buttons with bookmarks is just insane.

Are there any alternatives to the drill-through option?

thank you!

Hi @Anonymous

Are those detailed pages in the same format but having different data? If so, I think using Drill Through is still the easiest solution. But instead of right clicking on a data point and selecting Drillthrough, you can create a Drillthrough button on the summary page. This can be more user friendly.

Create a drillthrough button in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
