spread revenue across a period based on start and end date in visual matrix

Hello All,

I need to create a matrix that will show the revenue spread in month column. I manage do do it in Excel but I cannot find a way to do it in PBI. I have an revenue column, a start date and end date. I need to create a visual like this.

Can someone give me some direction on how to do it ?

Hello Arcall,

If your asking in terms of creating a visual or dashboard, you can create a matrix with your date on the X axis or columns. And use a slicer filter to reduce the time series to what you want.

Hello Arcall,

Not sure if your revenue is in one column, in PowerBI Query you could experiment with using UNPIVOT COLUMNS as you bring in and set up your data. Not sure if this is the direction you were looking.Unpivot.JPG
