sorting images on Chiclets slicer based on ranks

Hi All,

I am creating a view using the custom chiclet slicer.

In this particular view I want the slicer to be sorted based on the Rank measure.

For example the slicer table is like this

Animal Name      Weight in Kg    image links

Lion                       100                www.animal.com/lion.png

Tiger                      120                www.animal.com/tiger.png

Elephant                150                www.animal.com/elephant.png

Giraffe                    70                 www.animal.com/giraffe.png

Monkey                  30                 www.animal.com/monkey.png

Eagle                      20                 www.animal.com/eagle.png

So I created a measure to rank the animals by weight  Ranking by weight=Rankx(All(animal[animal name]),sum(weights in kg),,desc, dense)

In the slicer I will arnge my numbers like this

Category- Animal Name

Values- Ranking by weight (Measure)

Look forward for the suggestion

Thanks

I think this can be done just by sorting the slicer based on weights.

Any better suggestion is appreciated

Hi @baronraghu,

Great to hear the problem got resolved!

As far as I know, this should be the best solution currently. So could you accept your reply above as solution to close this thread and help others who may also have this issue easily find the answer? Smiley Happy
