I have a fact table show simple sales details with Month _id as below fig 1 & a dimen table to convert monthid into monthyear name as shown below in fig 2

I have converted both Mon_id in fact and dime table as text in power query editor.
Question: When i try to creat a matrix and a slicer with values from din table it is showing the monthyear whcih is not related to fact table as below
The fact table as the sale only for year 2022 but the slicer is show all the month in the monid table i know the data model create the full outer join between the fact & dimen. but i want to show only the month related ot fact table in this case the slicer should show only march2022,appril2022,may2022

try to put the measure [Slicer Sales] equal to 1 in the filter pane of your slicer visual

One of ways is to create a measure like below and put it into the visual filters pane of the slicer.
