slicer show incorrect selection

Hi,

I have a dashboard in which I want to select an animal and see all available cycle numbers for this specific animal.

However, there are a few instances where I see an incorrect selection resulting in Blanks.

On the left cycle 7 is selected because I previously looked at cycle 7 of another animal. However, for the current animal cycle 7 is not available. This is why I get Blanks.

When I select cycle 6, which is available for this animal,  the 7 disappears and my data appears.

This is confusing for my end users. How can I get a correct slicer selection?

Both animal and cycle number are found in the same table.

Example: left (wrong) - right (correct)Example: left (wrong) - right (correct)

You may create a new table where you summarize the animals and the cycles.. and use the cycles in this new table in your slicer.

It will help if you share the details of your model.

Thanks for your reply.

What would this summary look like? I can't quite visualize it in my head.
