show percentage data values in line chart

Hi

My data has percentage values which I need to plot on the Y axis in a line chart. There is no option to show the labels as %. The GT won't work.

The image here shows the data table after converting the "Data Type" from Decimal to Percentage.

Here's the current output of the line chart -

I wonder why the values in the data table as % don't show up in the line chart as %.

Thanks

Don'@saipawar,

Clicking the column in Field Pane --> on the top ribbon you will see the data format for this column.

This is found in Power BI Desktop.

My screesnhot is for a measure, but you'll get the same for your column.

Thank you

Pragati

@Pragati11 Thanks Pragati!! I was clicking on the checkbox on the side of the column name. I just had to select it and then the format option appeared.

@saipawar ,Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

Hi @saipawar ,

Can you elaborate more on this percentage data please? I am not able to replicate this issue at my end becasue I see percentage labels on my line chart. See below:

Also, is you column summarised on the line chart?

Try one thing.

Click on your column, and on the top ribbon check if the data format is PERCENTAGE as shown in my screesnhot.

Thanks,

Pragati
