I have power bi report showing 7 days data and in x-axis it is showing 7 days like dec3,dec10,dec17...but I need to show like 12/3-12/9,12/10-12/17...insted of dec3,dec10--
how can I achieve it.

What's your date format in your resource table? I create the following sample table.
I create a line chart, when you select the date as x-axis, it will display automatically as the picture1 shown. The X-axis type is continuous. When we change it as categorical type, it will show each value one by one as the picture2 displayed.
If you want to show like 12/3-12/9,12/10-12/17. We can't achieve it unless your resource data format is like that. Up to date, we can not custom the x-axis format, please review this feature request and vote it.

You can create a calculated column formula in the Data Model to generate those desired date ranges.

Click on format and click on x-axis. Under that category called "TYPE" . select Categorical in drop down list.
