show blank() as Blank() values in IF

Basically I want to show 3 values, pass,Fail, and blanks...

=IF( SomeDateColumn > TODAY() ,"Pass" , IF( Blank(), "" ,"Fail") )

I've some blank rows but still comes with FAIL instead of empty string or Blank values.

what I'm doing wrong?

hi,@huslayer

     ISBLANK(Column) return true or false and Column = Blank() is value of Column is Blank() .

for example:

ISBLANK(Column)=true() and Column = Blank() is the same result, and ISBLANK(Column)=false() and Column <> Blank() is the same result.

hi,@huslayer

     You can try to use this formula like below:

Column2 = IF( Table1[Date] > TODAY() ,"Pass" , IF(Table1[Date]= Blank(), "" ,"Fail") )

Result:

Hi Lin,

thanks for jumping in.

whats' the difference between ISBLANK(Column)  and Column = Blank()   or it's the same?

thanks
