search\compare multiple values

hi,

i have a slicer with multiple selection

i chose two selection, rows =3

how can i compare each value (out of 3) with a measure

for example:

products:

bread

milk

jam

measure: bread,chocolate, jam

i want to sum the appeareance of each value from product in the measure. in that case, measure will be 2. (bread and jam exist)

thanks!

Hi @MP_123,

According to your description, you need to add measure to your report, and the result of this measure is based on the user's selection from a slicer, right?

If that is the case, I am afraid this issue cannot be done is current version of Power BI. When viewing a Power BI report, measures calculation at first, and then the report render based on measures or columns, at last users can select items in slicer. At this time the measures that based on users' selection won't calculate again.

Regards,

Charlie Liao
