same customer id different name

Hi all, I have this issue where I have the same customer id but customer names that were incorrectly typed in a dataset containing thousands of rows. I want to be able to filter on customer name for my end users of the report but cannot due to having multiple variations customer names for the same id.

Customer IDCustomer Name
123

Fred

123Fredd
123Fred.
123Fred

Does anyone know of a workaround for this problem?

On way is create a new summarize table with min or max name

Customer = summarize(Table, Table[Customer Id], "Name",max( Table[Customer Name]))
