@aka

Based on my research, Azure SQL data warehouse doesn't support Row-Level Security, you'll have to configure RLS for data models imported into Power BI with Power BI Desktop. May I know what exact you'r like to do with the USERNAME() function?

@Eric_Zhang

For example
bob is a sales rep should only see his territory.
kevn is  bob's manager, and needs to see his own territory AND bob's territory.
 jimmy (manager)
john (employee)

for this log-in security i thought of using username () dax function

but my data is in azure sql dataware house  so i annot use it?

can you suggest me what to do in this case

I was agian thinking to use analysis tabular model and assign roles over there and them import  that data in power bi desktop
