resource management table

similar to a gantt chart (tried the custom visual and it doesnt do exactly what i need)

trying to pull together a view with

Fields

VENDORS | LOCATION | START DATE | DURATION | FINISH DATE | each calendar date --->

trying to plot a value of "1" in each calendar date "cell" from the Start Date to Finish date using the DURATION

then conditional format "1" to a color, this would look very similar to a gannt chart

i know this will be an eye chart but it will allow the user to horizontally / vertically scroll the locations associated to each vendor and when they are associated

Then we can create a different view using same data

i would sum the "1's" in each calendar date column and create a resource usage column chart below it

thank you in advance for help anyone can provide

Hi,

The "matrix" visual is similar to your scenario. But it can't display all the dates. I double checked all the visual. It seems there is no such a proper visual. You can submit an idea here:https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
