replace data source from Hive to Azure

Hi,

I will be building out reports using Hive and in about 3 weeks  they will be moving to cloud.

In powerBI is there a way to just point to the data source isntead of loading the tables?
I will also be performing advanced calculations on the column and adding/deleting columns. Is there a possiblity to just replace the data source later?

I'm not so sure what you mean, can you please explain more detail. If you mean import data to power bi query tables, you can try to use directquery or live connection mode, they not real import data to power bi side.

Notice: you should confirm these data sources has same data structure, current query table not support dynamic table structure.
