Could somebody advice needed actions, when columns names in source data has been changed and error message " cannot be found" appears upon refresh/update.

In my sample, I rename [Values] column as [Sales] in data source and I can reproduce your issue.
Error:
This issue should be caused that Power BI couldn't find the renamed column in some steps like "Change Type" or in some custom columns which are created by it. So you just need to change the old name to new name in all steps in Advanced Editor.
So in my sample, I need to replace "Value" as "Sales".

@Finnishflash , Check for Change Type Step in power query (Hoem Tab -> Transform data -> Transform data)
Remove the entries of the such column. You might have remove them from more than 1 steps
