remove gap between clustered column chart

saipawar_0-1636569311506.png

Hi

How can I club X asix values? I would like to have a single "Events" and "Paid Media Campaign" text on X asix with 2 column bars for each text

Here's a table view -

How can I combine these 2 (Events and Campaign) into single line items?

Thanks

@saipawar

Please share the dummy pbix with same structure.

Please use this dummy file on Google Drive

Hi @saipawar

Data looks in good format already, can you share the dummy pbix file where you are having axis issue.

Looks like there is a special character (?) at the end of 'Plan' items. Is there a way to remove those? I have trimmed and cleaned that data column but still getting the same error.

Thanks

Hi, @saipawar

You can replace the special character (?) with “” to  trim and clean the data colum.

If I understand correctly, you can try  'new group' to combine 'Events' and 'Paid Medium Campaigns'. Then replace the original field "status" with this "new group" field in the matrix legend.

@saipawar Use a stacked column chart? Or create a measure that combines Actual and Plan?

@Greg_Deckler Even a stacked column chart is giving me two separate bars for each Sub Function!
