reading sql table column capital or lowercase letter

Hello,

I have imported an sql table in Power BI.

one af the columns includes a letter or is blank.

for example

capital letter L, all articles of an orders are delivered

lowercase letter l, some of the articles are delivered

Blank, there are no articles delivered

By reading the sql table in Power BI in this column all capita land lowercase letters are transformed in capital letters.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Hi,

Dit is not the solution.

Alle letters will be transformed in either lower of uppercase.

I tried to change this is SQL and also here all letters are transformed in lower or uppercase.

Hi @HJDataconsult,

Query Editor is case-sensitive while Power Bi is not. There is a workaround that we can use other sign to act as capital or lowercase.

In Query Editor, we add a conditional column as the picture shows.reading sql table column capital or lowercase letter.jpg
