"Something went wrong" while inserting icon in a blank button

Hi,

I've have trouble when inserting a blank button and hereby using the custom icon function. When I'm inserting the icon I get the message below:

Road: Insert - Buttons - Blank - Format button - Icon - Icon - Custom - Insert icon

I can't do anything, and to go further I need to start task manager and shut Power BI Down through that.

Anybody else with that issue? Or someone who knows what to do?

Thanks for reporting it. I found the cause and opened a bug for it.

Please try turning on the new format pane preview feature. It's in File / Option and settings / Options / Preview features then turn on New format pane.

It works with the new format pane, but not with the "old" view.

Hi @MTHBI ,

This seems to be a bug. Have submited this issue internal to confirm(ICM: 293372153), would update here as soon as possible if there is any progress about it.

Currently enable new format pane could mitigate this issue:

- File / Options and settings / Options / Preview features

- turn on New format pane
