We are attempting to build "report cards" for our physicians that show them where they are relative to their peers. Ideally, we'd like to have box and whisker plots with points for each individual and then when an individual's name is selected in a slicer, their data points would be highlighted/"called out". I can obviously use the slicer to filter, but that kind of misses the entire point of seeing one person relative to the entire group. We're not married to the idea of a box plot, but it needs to be more than just a card with values for average/medians - they need to be able to see relative to everyone else where they are.
Any ideas or has anyone done something similar?
I assume you can calculate some sort of "score" for each doctor in the group
If you create a bar graph for the group members, when you select a doctor in the slicer their bar should "light up".
However there are some built in problems in just comparing a single number for each doctor. See https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0873895622/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for examples and ideas. I'd be more than happy to talk over this issue with you.
Help when you know. Ask when you don't!
Even using bar charts, I get no highlight option when I go to edit interactions from the slicer, only filter or no interaction.
