quarter to quarter comparison

I have slicer on dashboard having options Year,Quarter and Month. On selecting one of this value there is another slicer which will populate respective dates. For example. Slice 1 =Year, Slicer 2 will display all the years present on DB. 

Suppose i select quarter 3 of 2018 then following table should display count of sale for each type and last column should display how much sale is more as compaired to previos quarter of 2018.

Like wise if i select Feb in slicer then table should compare data with January.

Any suggestion how to achieve it ?

There are several ways to accomplish your desired result. As a starter, please post a sample data.

First Slicer use column Period which display values like Year,Quarter,Month. On selecting one of the value second slicer use Column 'Date Filter'.

On selecting quarter in slicer ,table should display values like follows.
