preview report in full screen

It doesn't seem possible to preview a report / dashboard in full screen while using Power BI desktop. Am I missing something?

It looks like the only way to preview in full screen is to publish the report to powerbi.com first, then view full screen from there. This is neither ideal, nor possible in cases where I'm working with sensitive data.

@B_Real You are correct. You can get "close" by hiding the header (arrow next to sign in, or your name in the upper right) but you still have the thin margins for filter/visual and also the area on the left for navigation.

The Desktop is mainly the report building tool, not really the presentation layer.

For sole on premises solutions, I would look at the new integration of SQL 2016. I would expect that the browser experiance provided by the reporting team to display Power BI reports would include that full screen mode. I haven't explored this option yet, but you could see if it's included by checking out the technical preview - here

Indeed, but if I'm building a report I want to know what its going to look like on the big screen as I build. It's really useful to flick into full screen for demo purposes (prior to publishing the report to any presentation area).

In Tableau, you press F7 and boom... the desktop report is in full screen.

Cheers for the shout on the Power BI / SSRS preview, looks like it might go someway to addressing the above.

There's an idea published for this if anyone wants to go and vote for it...
