power bi engine

When importing data( Excel, CSV, DB) from source (MB size) to power bi desktop . Is there any data storage in power bi desktop to store it.

NOTE: Not live connections.

Hi @Anonymous,

When opening pbix file, PBI Desktop will host your data model same as your SSAS cube workspace. please have a look at this path: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\AnalysisServicesWorkspaces
