pin company specific data to viz

I'm trying to figure out a way to pin our company data to a viz where our data normally wouldn't make the top 10. As we are competing against other brands, we want to see how we measure up.

Is there a way to always show us against the competition without adding an additional viz that filters by brand? Any suggestions?

1st pic shows other brands in yellow and ours in blue (we are in the top 10)

2nd pic, we are not in the top rankings but would still like to see where we are in comparison to the brands that are.

Thanks!

OK, here is one potential way.

  1. Get rid of your Top N filter
  2. Create the following column: Rank = RANKX(ALL(Table4),[Dollars])
  3. Create the following column: Rank2 = IF([Brand]="MY COMPANY",0,[Rank])
  4. Change your filter to Rank2 <= 10

So, assume that you are using a TopN filter?

You could potentially create a measure that calculates just your data (use FILTER).

Can't really be more specific with what is presented. Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

See below sample data for the viz.

BrandDollarsDollars % Chg
BD$2,800,000-2.50%
MY COMPANY$2,700,00045.40%
MG$1,800,000-4.40%
BRS$500,0000.20%
SMK$380,000-6.60%
DK$370,00062.40%
CM$350,000-7.90%
BN$300,000-24.00%
VN$250,000-17.20%
JZ$220,000-3.40%

Type: Line & Stacked Column Chart

Brand in the Shared Axis

Dollars in Column Values

Dollars % Chg in Line Values

Now lets say you add 10 more brands with Dollar amounts that are higher than "My Company", I still want "My Company" to show up on the viz in some way (line or dot maybe?) so I can see how we compete against the top 10 brands. Ideally, I want the blue column/bar to stick in the viz (to the left or far right)

BrandDollarsDollars % Chg
AA$3,000,0007.50%
RR$4,000,0002.20%
MT$3,500,000-1.50%
BS$3,400,000-6.20%
TK$4,200,00094.86%
FR$2,800,0004.54%
WF$2,900,00010.63%
KG$3,100,000-12.85%
LL$3,200,000100.00%
PJ$5,000,000-2.64%

I am using a TopN filter based on dollars with brand on the horizontal.
