paint graph with date values

Hiii

I have a problem with powerBi to perform to output a multi-column chart, I have a table with this columns:
"user_id / Check-in date / Check-out date / user_type"
I want to make a two column chart that counts me by months the number of users that check_in and the number that check_out. The user's entry and exit dates do not have to be the same day / month.
I put the data as Y-axis values, I want the X-axis to be by date as well, by month up to the current date or nested date. Try to create a calendar table and link it relationally with the two columns, but it doesn't paint it for me later on the graph.

Thank you very much for the help you.

And this is the table that is given to us:

....

Later you would like to filter by type using buttons.

Thank you

Hi @Anonymous ,

You could create an active relationship with "check_in" date and create an inactive relationship with "check_out" date.

Then create measures for counting use_id to get the result.

Here is my test file for your reference.
