output in linechart

So i have the table shown below(nr 1), and i want to show how the email sent on different dates, on a line chart.

But for some reason the linechart is showing 1 value(24.08.2020) Not other dates. It shows great on the other emails.

the value it is showing is the first day the email was sent.

Hi @mathician ,

The Date column used on your chart is based onj what column/table? Is it a related table?

Can you share a little bit more information on your model setup

Miguel Félix

Looks like this

Assuming that the active relationship is on the send date, try to put in the ID column on the values of the chart and make a count.

Hi @mathician ,

Looking at your information believe that the issues is regarding the type of information.

If the relationship between Calendar table and the mail table is based on the ML_SENT_TIMESTAMP you have an issue since this includes hours and you calendar table is refering always to 0:00 so heonly picks up the mails send at that time.

Also be carefull if when adding the columns on the line values you are getting distinct count or count.

In the information you have send out since there is only one send date there is a single point on the chart also. Please check the column to wich you are relating the tables.

Miguel Félix

You had your calculations to be made on the inactive relationship, sometimes only seeing the images is hard to figure out how people have their models, but glad you were abble to figure it out.
