optimize data refresh in PBI desktop

hi, i have a dataset which has around 10 millions records and we keep adding records to it,.so eventually it grows even bigger. In desktop, have  a report based of this dataset, and while making changes to report, every time i hit Refresh in report, it loads all the data which take lots of time. Is there a way to optimize this?  and when it groes bigger, how to handle this data in th Desktop ?
