hi im trying making a calculation of number of ship from prev year

prevnumbship = CALCULATE ((ViewLookupShipments[number shipment]), SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR( ViewProjectProfit[dtAccounting] ) )

all good, but if I select all current year 2019, the result is blank I think because the year 2019 is still ongoing

how I can calculate until today (month) ?

@snifer  i think you need a continuous date table to use same period last year, do you have a date table?
