old table hidden somewhere - try create table with same name gets called table2

Hi,

 

Have a .pbix and and was a table called measures which no longer visible and cannot see in model. 

 

whe hit enter data and try call measures, gets called measures (2)

 

how can we fully remove the old measures table as can't see it so new one can be called measures?

 

Also is there a general link can go to to pick up power bi desktop montly updates - usually do a google search but can' see april 2020 desktop update?

Hi @po 

 

If you install the update from the MS store it should update automatically as available.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-get-the-desktop#install-as-an-app-from-the-microso... 

 

If you cant find your measure you can just search for it in the search bar in your desktop file and adjust/ remove

Thanks for useful link re automatic updates.

 

Is there an automatic link which details fetaures of each update?

 

Looks like may be this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-latest-update which menions march 2020 as latest update.

 

Foudn the  hidden table by editing query of another table and in advanced editor coudl see the old table which had 1 column which had been inadvertently hidden - removed the hidden bit from power query and can now see.
