I need some help creating a bar graph by month KPI of employees on pace to hit the annual participation point goal of 120 points.
In other words, each empoyee should have at least 10 points in January, 20 in February, 30 in March, etc.
This is what it looks like as kept very manually now:
Records are kept like this table below (the overall employee database is on another tab).
-Columns C-E are just extra information not relavent to these calculations.
Susie is on pace in January & February. Joey was not on pace in January or February.
Need help creating measures & formulas, or creating new tables or columns, whatever makes this easiest. Thank you!!
Date of Action | Employee Name | NA | NA | NA | Points |
1/15/2021 | Susie | 15 | |||
2/11/2021 | Joey | 5 | |||
2/15/2021 | Susie | 5 |
Hi,
Your question is not clear. To reach a goal of 120 points till December, why should an "empoyee should have at least 10 points in January, 20 in February, 30 in March, etc."???? Show the expected result very clearly.
HI @danking,
It sounds like you want to design the visuals to expand with forecast graphs which not include in your table records, right?
If that is the case, you need to add an unconnected calendar table as the axis for visual, then you can write measure expressions to calculate results based on current calendar date ranges.
BTW, if you are confused about the coding formula, please share some dummy data with the expected result to help us clarify your requirement and test to coding format.
