multiple values in a column

Hi

I have my data set which has a column with multiple choices. It goes something like this :

"From which of the following sources has the company raised or received external investment? Select all that apply."

there are total 6 options as below: 

Angel investor

Venture capital fund 

Private equity fund

Strategic partners

Capital Markets

therefore the data set looks something like this as below. How can i do an analyses on the sources say for example x no of companies seeked Angel investors as their source or something like overall we had Private equity fund used by x no of companies etc - Please can someone help me with a detailed steps i have to action to achieve this- thank you!

Hi,

In the Query Editor, click on the heading of the second column and in the ribbon, select Split column > By delimiter.  Specify the delimiter as / and under Advanced, select Rows.  Click on Close and Apply.  To your Table visual, drag Company and write this measure

=distinctcount(Data[From which of the following sources has the company raised or received external investment? Select all that apply])

thank you so much , can you please also advise me where i should put the second formula 

Also what if i want to show a bar chart of the number of count of companies for these sources - can you please share the info for that too - thank you!

Hi,

What second formula are you referring to?  I have only shared only formula with you.  Write that measure and drag that to the Values bucket (where you have dragged the Company column).  You can click anywhere in the Table visual and select any other visual icon that you want.

thank you , I did that but again am not able to see what i was looking for check this, from this graph how can i intepret how many companies have gone for different sources , ideally i wanted to see the count of companies for all these 6 sources
