month start date

I have dates from 02 aug 2018 to 30 aug 2018 ... 

 

when i create  this column in table using this 

 

Start_Monthdate = STARTOFMONTH(TBL_Endo_Start_Date[Date])
 
i got 02 aug 2018 .. where as i want 01 aug 2018 whther date is in data or not ?> 
 
any solutions

The start of month will not go beyond the date boundaries of the table. That might be the date you have in the table

 

Start of Month = Date(Year(TBL_Endo_Start_Date[Date]),month(TBL_Endo_Start_Date[Date]),1)

The start of month will not go beyond the date boundaries of the table. That might be the date you have in the table

 

Start of Month = Date(Year(TBL_Endo_Start_Date[Date]),month(TBL_Endo_Start_Date[Date]),1)
