min max and average

Hi

I am new to this and struggling with a measure.

I need to know the minimum sales value of each item number (and maximum); plus the average sales value by each item number.  Can someone please help? TIA

It's not that hard. And, what's important, to perform this analysis you don't need to write a single line of code 🙂

HI @Kpaffey,

 

The simple way is create a table visual with multiple total sales columns and switch its summary mode to show different result:

Notice: you should setting the item to 'don't summarize' before these operations.

 

In addition, you can also use summarize function to summary the records:

Summary table = SUMMARIZE(Sheet4,[Item],"Min",MIN(Sheet4[Total Sales]),"Max",MAX(Sheet4[Total Sales]),"Average",AVERAGE(Sheet4[Total Sales]))
