merge and append - does order matter?

I have 3 tables a,b,c

I wish to left join a to b to create f and then append that result to c

Is that possible? does edit qeury window do each table creation in an order or does it do things in parralel?

I think I can only do this if each table load, append or merge is a serial operation, I can't have the append occuring before the join for example.

Yes, the steps are processed sequentially in order
