measuring existance of the record with comparing 3 columns

nHi Team,

 

I have requirement 

Req01 : measuring existance of the record comparing 3 columns (if fruit has one or more entry any where in Desc1,Desc2,Desc3 then consider as active and display Y,if don’t have any records then Inactive and display N

 

Req 2: display values with title as  Desc (Desc1,Desc2,desc3) and title as Prod (prod1,prod2,prod3) followed by activate and inactive

 

Please find attached data and expected out put

Hi @raomarapatla ,

In fact, you can't use measure to replace three fields value.
In my opinion, you can try to create table with desc and period fields. Then use fruit and these filed to create a matrix and write measure to look up correspond fields value to display Y/N.

In addition, you can also use unpivot column feature to convert these fields to attribute and value.
After these, you can create matrix with fruit as row, unpivoted attribute as column and write a measure to check current attribute and value to display Y/N.
