When I switch from using a regular Table viz, to a Matrix Viz, Totals get harder to work with. I still want the Grand Total Numbers for the entire table to be frozen at the top of the Matrix Vizualization.

You mean the total value is incorrect when switch Table visual to Matrix visual? Could you please provide some sample data and your expected result(exclude sensitive data)? It will help us to make troubleshoting and provide solution. Thank you.
