manage relationships & Binary keys

Hello,

 

My database have Binary fields as keys, I cannot see them when i open "manage relationships" but I can see the other fields,

 

is it normal ? what can I do ?

Hi @PhilippeCN ,

 

The column which is using Binary as data type cannot see or use outside the Power Query Editor, we can only convert it to other data type such as text or expand it as table to show them.

it's normal that you cannot see them. because they are binary.

Try expanding the binary columns and check again

 

Hello, I mean :

 

If I "edit Qury" then I see the column but the value contains "binary"

my problem is that when I want to "manage relationship" the colum doesn't appear at all 

And when I click on the "Model" icon on the left menu and then see my data model, the binary column are not displayed in the tables

HELP HEEEELLLLPPPP

 

Imposssible to see my Binary column when I'm in DirectQuery

I absolutly need it to be able to read the datamodel with keys as Binary

Hello,

 

I try to use PowerBI on a DM using Binary as keys, I can see these fields when I edit the query ,

but when I want to Manage relationship, these Keys are not displayed

 

How can I do ? 

My understanding is that PowerBI is not supporting these kind of data model
