making a Year filter to default to current Year?

I have a report that has:

ovonel_0-1628841722113.png

So, whenever a user access it goes to Fiscal Year 2021 (by default…)

Now I realize that I have to change this every year… Is there a way of doing this dynamically? That is, the user always by default accessing current Fiscal Year?

Ps: now I am manually solving this by changing the selection to 2022.

Unfortunately slicers don't support dynamic default values.

You may use some workarounds to handle it if needed.

This is a very good example: Custom Range Date Slicer in Power BI with dynamic defaults and more... | LinkedIn

If it is ok to show it like this:

PreviousYear

Current Year

Next Year

Then you can create a calculated column based on today's date and use it in your slicer.
