looking for visualization

Need help to display the data in the below format.

When ever the measure has a value then need to show a bubble (What ever may be the count) in that particular month.

For the measure 3 we have multiple categories. Each categories are placed in 3 different columns.

Looking for the help or tricks to achive the requirement

This could likely be made with the Charticulator visual, probably also using a calculation group to get a column of measures to be used on your y axis.

@mahoneypat  Thanks for your reply!.

Actually my requirement is to plot the measure values in a single line while displaying on X-Axis (what ever the value may be, But the actual value should be displayed in tooltip) and one of my measure has to 3 catagories those three catogories slices the data of that measure only.

 

Below you can see the sample data and requirment image.

Can you share any thing related to this kind of visualization fulfillment.

I can demonstrate how to make your visual with Charticulator, but a few things first.

- Please provide your sample data in a copy/paste-able format (not an image).  You can insert a table in your reply and paste your data there.

- Provide a column with category values too, and confirm that it is only Measure 3 that needs to be split by category

- Your x-axis shows as the month but some of the circles appear between month values.  Please clarify what your x-axis is.  Is each month a mini-axis for your measure values and the circles appear within that space based on the value?

Measure count should be catogerized like below one's.

Thank you for providing data, but I am still confused a little.  I expected a table of just the values needed for the visual (Month, Measure1, Measure2, Measure3, and Category).  I can work with what you sent but I still don't see a Category column.  How is that determined from your data?  Also, why do some of the data points appear to show between months, suggesting there is more to the x axis that just month name?

@Power_Mate .most of the standard visuals you can not have both multiple measure and legend together

 

Matrix do conditional formatting or icon formatting when every there is values you can have color or icon

 

you can use measure on row, column month and category

it does not related to conditional formatting. some how i have got the shapes

But the thing is i need to make them uniform on y axis grid even aftering sorting by Month and year.

Hi @Power_Mate ,

You want to display the Y-axis value as a static value and the shape as a bubble, in addition to displaying different colors depending on its category. Based on my research, I'm afraid that there is no similar default visual or custom visual that can achieve what you want. Maybe you can raise a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.
