looking for a multiple timezone slicer in a report which will filter UTC column in a table

Hey, I'm quite new to PowerBI. I'm stuck on handling multiple timezones. I have a table with a UTC column and looking to make a slicer contains (CST, EST, PST, etc). As the user selects the timezone from the slicer the table will filter the date and time and show the result on the report. Is there any way to reach the solution? Please help.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I'm using the following sample data:

DateTime

2021-9-1 1:00:00AM
2021-9-1 4:30:00PM
2021-9-5 1:00:00PM
2021-9-10 6:00:00PM
2021-9-15 9:45:00AM
2021-9-20 11:30:00AM

1. Change the type of the DateTime column to Date/Time/Timezone in Power Query Editor.

2. Then add the UTC, CST, EST and PST columns respectively.

3. Then unpivot the timezone columns.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.

@Anonymous Sounds like you need a Complex Selector: The Complex Selector - Microsoft Power BI Community. Can't be much more specific than that with the information provided. Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
