Hi All,
I have a Date table with DateKey and Date , alt_Date (3 Columns)
Here alt_date also had date ,but it has random date, while date is like regular date fields in any date dimension.
another Sale table
that has
DateKey, Sale_Amount (two columns)
Both table are joined on Date_key
I want to create a report with
Date, Sale(on Date, sale(on alt_date)
first two are simple, just drag and drop, I am having hard time to have sale on alt_Date.
Can somebody please advice.
Thanks

Hi,
You may download my PBI file from here.
Hope this helps.
@RG007 , First table you have to also join on alt_date. That will be inactive join.
You need to use that in a measure using userelation
refer my Hr video How to use: https://youtu.be/e6Y-l_JtCq4
Or this blog - https://radacad.com/userelationship-or-role-playing-dimension-dealing-with-inactive-relationships-in...
Hi I tried userelation, I used that many times before also , but in this case it didn't help me.
Please find attached picture for my need.
Hi,
In the Sale Table, don't you have a Date column?
No, Sale table has only dt key...Thanks
