localization in Power BI

Hello All,

Currently am working on a Power BI report where the language of the report needs to be changed based on the locale of the user. Came to know about MS transalator which can be used to display data in different languages. But, is there any option to show the titles of the visuals in the language based on the locale of user. Please help.

Thanks

Aditya

Hi @adityak,

There is no option in Power BI Desktop to directly change visual titles, text fields in reports based on the locale of the user.

As your post, you can utilize some translation tools/functions such as Microsoft Translator - Text Translation to make your source data to be in multiple languages format, then create reports with multiple languages. For more details, you can review the example in the following video.
