Hi
I have a live connection to an HR analysis services cube. I have a chart showing the availability per department and I want to add a line with the company wide availability to benchmark the departments against. Is there a way to do this using a live connection? I am not able to add calculated measures....
Hi @jvandyck
When connecting to SSAS in live connection, it only support to create report level measure.
If you need to add a column, live connection is not recommended.
For your requirement, you could add reference line in a visual.
Create dynamic reference lines for visuals in the Power BI service
You could drag the column (not created in Power BI, but from your data source) to the field,
or create measures, then add it here.
Best Regards

Even report level measures are not possible on SSAS if I am not mistaken? On Tabular cubes it is possible but not on SSAS.
The reference lines you mention, can be handy, but ideally I would creat them on a stacked column chart :(.
