link to a word document

Hi all,

is it posible to have a button on a pbi report with a link to a word document?

when you press the button, the document will open

Hi @cosminc,

It is not possible to insert a button for users to click to open a word file. As a workaround, you can add a hyperlink (Web URL) that navigate to online or local Word document. For details, please see:

No it is not on the web

it;s a word document put near pbi and its source

Not that I am aware of, buttons can go Back, do a Q&A action or a Bookmark.

let's say i do print screens and import as images and put as tool tip of a button or text ; can i?

@cosminc great idea!  I totally just did that by throwing it into Photoshop as PNG at 1280 x 720 p and it worked beautifully.  It'd be cool to have the O365 features right in PBI for collab maybe in a future version.
