limit the amount of space that power bi uses to refresh the data

when we install power bi, somehow powerbi installs "containers"
also, when we schedule a refresh, power bi takes up a lot of space, so i want to know how to limit that space
limit the amount of space that power bi uses to refresh the data
currently, when i refresh my dashboards, it's taking up to about 4gigs and it slows down my computer, so i would like to see what power bi and microsoft have to say abou this.

please!

but i know that every refresh takes up about 4g of data
so it makes it all be much slower
i know that there is a way to limit this data usage in the software, when we install it, but i don't know how
but we can't change the data table merge
i mean, we can't chagne how it's being merged

Hi @LilyJiang

Something you seek for maybe Incremental refreshinPower BIPremium which make refreshes faster and resource consumption reduced

Next, check the list which provides the minimum requirements to run Power BI Desktop.

Additionlly, let me know how much is your data size loaded in Power BI.

If you have a large data file, refresh will take more time and more space.

Best Regards

Maggie
