left join

Hi All,

I have big issue with Merging Queries function (power query ).

I have 2 tables:
1.Table A => Fact table

2.Table B => Duplicate from Fact table

I join by left outer join from Table B  into Table A. (Table A is the left table)

as you can see in table B the numbers sort from A-Z

however , After merge to Table A their is mess with the numbers.

In the bottom line I want to join Table C to A

Hope for your responds

In the first line it is sorting alpahbetically, in the second it is sorting numerically. My guess is that there has been a type change that was automatically done that changed the column from a text column to a number. This should appear as a change type step in the query editor.

#"Merged Queries1"

#"Expanded ..."

The other possibility is that in the first line you have a different column name to the second, are both these columns the same data type?

How are these columns constructed?

Ok I cant suggest anything else without having a copy of the pbix file. Are you able to share the pbix, or a similar one that exhibits the same behaviour?

however, it is working correct.

I don't have permission share our server data.
