last year period

Hi,

I created a mensure last year period:

Sales LY =

IF(

'Sales Ths Units'[Total Sales Units] <> BLANK(),

CALCULATE (

[Total Sales Units],

SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR ( Timedimension[Date] )
)
And then % change:
% last period units = DIVIDE( 'Sales Ths Units'[Total Sales Units] - 'Sales Ths Units'[Sales LY], 'Sales Ths Units'[Sales LY])

But it show value (%change) when there isnt same period last year - eg when no date is selected.

How to change my formula to show the result only if there is a previous same period last year?

Please help. Thank you!

@paulinamaj

maybe you can try

% last period units =if(ISBLANK('Sales Ths Units'[Sales LY]),BLANK(), DIVIDE( 'Sales Ths Units'[Total Sales Units] - 'Sales Ths Units'[Sales LY], 'Sales Ths Units'[Sales LY])
