Dear All,
I have the below table:
month | Country | FTEs |
1/1/2019 | Germany | 1 |
1/1/2019 | Germany | 0.7 |
1/1/2019 | Germany | 0.7 |
1/1/2019 | Germany | 1 |
1/2/2019 | Germany | 1 |
1/2/2019 | Germany | 0.7 |
1/2/2019 | Germany | 0.7 |
1/2/2019 | Germany | 1 |
1/3/2019 | Germany | 1 |
1/3/2019 | Germany | 0.7 |
1/3/2019 | Germany | 0.7 |
1/3/2019 | Germany | 1 |
all I want is when i am creating a matrix table (column dates), for the quarters to appear as an average and not a sum.
Is there any measure on that?
Thank you in advance,
Paris

Hi Ppatris,
Please find attached screenshot.Try to change the property of FTEs as Average under Values Section.Check it out in attachments.

Even in Quarter level ,it is fetching Avg value.

Hi @Anonymous
if i understand you correct it's an unusual behaviour.
try to set Sum in the field property or share to us (screenshot or pbix file) what are you seeing incorrectly

hi @az38 ,
Below you have a example of a Matrix Table.
Month:
Quarter:
Those are the same tables just for the months I have drill down.
What I want is when you I drill up to the quarters and years to see the average of the selected months and not the sum. so the amount that I would like to see on this specific case would be 1445.18 / 3 = 481.72.
In case I have 2 months of info just to be divided by 2 and same to happen when i drill up to the year.
Let me know in case you would like more info and i would be happy to send them to you.
Cheers,
@Anonymous
am I correct: you need the SUM by month, but the AVG of the Monthly sums for quarters?
hi @az38
Yes exactly and as well the AVG of the Monthly sums for the year but i believe thats the same as the quarters.
thank you,
