Hello,
I would like to import data from sql. In one column I have casted nvarchars to numbers in sql without receiving an error message, but when I try to import the data into power bi, it says "invalid number". Does Power BI have trouble with casted numbers? Can you help me to overcome this issue?
Thanks,
Susanne

Hi @Anonymous ,
You could import the original data ( nvarchar type ) and check if error occurs. After my tests, it works properly.
Hi @Anonymous ,
You could import to Power BI at first and use UNICODE() function to get the correct results.
Hey @v-eachen-msft ,
thanks for your reply.
My problem is, that I can't even import the data set since I already get the error message while loading it into power bi, so I can't change anything in it.
Can you help me with this?
Kind regards,
Susanne
